Voyager is a rules based portfolio that contains one of the top-ranked Exchange Traded Funds* (ETF) according to its relative strength (see example below) when compared to a classic set of index ETFs. The pool of ETF's we select from replicate indexes around the world without any restriction on location or size of company.
Based on our experience we have found that Relative Strength is the most adaptive tool to identify the strongest trends within an investable universe. Our Relative Strength calculation is designed to target long term themes of outperformance, while also remaining responsive enough to allow for rotation when market trends necessitate. In short, Relative Strength attempts to minimize exposure to underperforming positions, while letting profitable positions run. Most importantly, this systematic and rules-based approach eliminates the subjective or "emotional" trades, as the calculation is derived from price data alone.

Think of a 20 player basketball team. We start our 5 best players with the remaining 15 on the bench. When the starters underperform we replace them with the best performing bench player.
We do the same with our ETF portfolio.
We start with the best performing ETF and only substitute, if and when, it begins to underperform.
Please be advised your performance will be determined based on your personal asset allocation.
